Let the Festivities Begin!

Our Easter celebration started Tuesday morning when Little Dude and I hopped on a plane and flew down to my hometown (sunny ol' St. George Utah), where we met my momma, my pops and my sister. Seth drove down Thursday night to join the crew and we've had a BLAST already!

Here's what we've done so far:

We've played 9 holes of golf

We've hung out by the pool for a few hours

We've played with chalk

I got my hair colored and trimmed

We've gone on night walks

We've played Candyland a bunch of times

We've enjoyed the beautiful weather outside by the fire

We've played some music together

We've eaten great food

And we've visited InstaCare for PINK EYE!

It's been AWESOME (well, minus the Pink Eye... lol... poor kid!)

For today we plan to golf a little more, fly kites at the park, dye our eggs, watch HOP tonight and prepare for the EASTER BUNNY, as well as a delicious brunch for the morning! I can't wait!

***What are your favorite Easter traditions? Do you have anything FUN planned for this weekend?

  1. Oh my gosh - what a packed, fun-filled weekend you've had already! Your hair looks great - did you have a touch of red added, or is it just the lighting? Enjoy the rest of your visit and have a blast! My favorite Easter tradition, to this day, is the egg hunt. As an adult I hide instead of find now. Most of the time. ;)

  2. Thanks so much ladies... yes, there is a little bit of auburn in there :) It's a FUN, subtle change!ww

Mini- I can totally see you looking for eggs.... Lol! Hope you found a TON! ha!

  3. Oh how fun! My husband is from St. George so all my in-law family is down there...we LOVE it there!!! We will live there one day. For now we're stuck in Spokane, WA though for school =)
And Easter for us? Just church and hanging out with my family. It was a nice relaxing day. It was Payson's first Easter and he got a rather large Easter basket from my family {the Easter bunny didn't come to our house this year, bad bunny haha} so that was nice of them!
