Goodbye Stinky Washcloths

ALL YOU NEED:
  • white washcloths
  • Tupperware
  • a small plastic squeeze bottle
  • bleach
  • H2O

Fill your squeeze bottle with bleach. Place your Tupperware in the sink (it stays there). Fill it with hot water. Squeeze some bleach into the Tupperware (only a few drops will do). Put your fresh washcloths in the mix and VOILA! Gone are the days of sour smells that singe your nose hair and knock your socks off! You'll have fresher, cleaner rags that last longer.... PLUS you'll be disinfecting your counters every time you use them!

GO ON, GIVE IT A TRY!!

**I change the water/bleach solution at least once a day (if not a few times) and I always rinse and ring out the cloth before throwing it back in the mixture. And as always, keep the BLEACH squirt bottle out of reach of the little ones.

  2. Haha. Washclothes in the kitchen seriously give me the willies. Weird, I know. I like sponges, which are probably a lot more likely to harbor bacteria, I know. It's just one of those things. Oh, and a scrub brush for dishes.

I have gotten into essential oils for cleaning, though, and I like that they're safe around kids.
