Weekly Wrap Up

We had a BUSY week!

On Monday we spent the afternoon at Little Dude's great-grandparents, picking and eating raspberries and blackberries until our stomachs hurt.

We went to dinner with Seth's parents Tuesday night while they were in town.

Wednesday we went to the library for story time and then lunch with our newest friends we met at swim lessons.

That night we had dinner and ice cream with Seth's cousin and his family who were visiting from the D.C. area.

On Thursday we went to the splash-pad with my pal Jess and Little Dude's best buddy in the world!

That night, after a quick nap, we went to the park with Meg, Star and her kids. Once we saw a bloody napkin laying on the grass, a dozen creepy looking guys roaming the play area and lots of bugs flying around, we decided that it was a pretty disgusting place to play... so we went to the nearby Sonic... which might have been even more disgusting! HA!

Friday we had long overdue play date with my good friend Nichole and her kids at the local Carls Jr. Not the most sanitized play-place I've ever seen, but the kids had a blast... and truthfully, we did too :)

And before Little Dude went with his dad last night, he and I hit up the cinema's, shared a big ol' bag of popcorn, and laughed our heads off in the new Ice Age.

Phew! Our week was full of good times and even better friends.... and now,  I'm pooped! I'm ready to get a little rest and relaxation while Little Dude is away for the weekend... :)

Well, that's it for today... Have a FUN summer weekend!!

XOXO

**What summer activities are you squeezing in before school starts in a few weeks?

  3. Traveling with little kids is so busy isn't it. My mom always said it is a change of scenery, not a vacation. Looks like you had a great time!
